I want my flytrap to grow and stuff and i was wondering where should i put it. right now it gets 2 to 4 hours of direct sunlight and another 6 to 12 hours of indirect sunlight and you guys said it was not enough now i live in california where it could be hot dry wet humid cold freezing burning and it is not great weather so where should i put it????

an impatient person growing one of the most slow growing plants in the world....
this can't go well

Where in California do you live? In all likelihood, you can put your plant outside where it can get full sun most of the day and leave it there all year.

i think thats a lot of sun light. you could have it as a half and half indoor and outdoor plant. when it is sunny you can put it out. if it is raining is bring it in.

I wouldn't bother bringing it in at all if you are in California.

I actually leave mine in the rain all the time, I think it actually helps as far as not having to water them for a day
