I want my flytrap to grow and stuff and i was wondering where should i put it. right now it gets 2 to 4 hours of direct sunlight and another 6 to 12 hours of indirect sunlight and you guys said it was not enough now i live in california where it could be hot dry wet humid cold freezing burning and it is not great weather so where should i put it????

i think thats a lot of sun light. you could have it as a half and half indoor and outdoor plant. when it is sunny you can put it out. if it is raining is bring it in.

I wouldn't bother bringing it in at all if you are in California.

I actually leave mine in the rain all the time, I think it actually helps as far as not having to water them for a day :) They don't seem to mind
