mirical grow peat moss is that good for repotting my flytrap and what about that sphagnum stuff is that needed???? i am also trying to use clippings to make another flytrap so for the clippings do i NEED to have sphagnum stuff????

oh and my flytrap ate a rly big fly and now it finaly opened but the skeleton of the fly is still there and it wont fall out or anything and its covering the senses things so what do i do about that???

Miracle Grow stuff (brand) isn't good because it has added nutrients in it. You can leave the fly alone as long as it doesn't get moldy. In general, Dionaea (Venus Fly Traps) grow in spagnum peat moss. If its not spagnum peat, then don't use it. Other things such as sedge peat or Michigan peat is different. And yes, if you are trying to grow another plant from a leaf, you also have to put it in peat moss. Most people use one part peat, and one part perlite and/or silica sand. Hope this helps!

well Lily nailed it.. but to be safe don't use anything form Miracle Grow.. well with the fly.. you have a choice to either take it out carefully or just leave it in..

I would leave the fly as it is.
It also works as an attractant to other flies.
Eventually, rain and/or wind will clean your trap.
