My plan all along was to use a photo of this pot of capensis. They are some of the first seeds that I germinated from the first giveaway that I took part in on this forum. The seeds were from a Big Pink and produced red, white, and pink plants. It doesn't look like this at the moment but at least it is still alive.

I'll leave you, and other winners in the standings. It makes it easier for me. Then I only have to check for past winners at the end of the contest.

I was gone for almost a week and when I come back, I'm met with a nice surprise. The newest pitcher from my Nepenthes 'Gaya'! This is one of my few plants that looks like its supposed to (not counting sundews).

I am going to choose my Bimbos, they had such a cruddy spring. They are finally getting their groove back at looking quite colorful as they get their burgundy back.

I’m not eligible for this month’s contest, but figured I join in anyway.

Gesneria cuneifolia— Not a cp, but still a finicky plant I am surprised I have been able to keep alive. Almost lost it twice. It requires moist, humid conditions. Had it growing and blooming well when I went upstate to visit my folks for Christmas last year. While gone, it dried out almost completely and the whole plant crashed. Thought I had lost it (and this is not a commonly available plant — can’t even remember from whom I got it). Much to my surprise there apparently was enough life left in the roots to allow a comeback. Even more surprising to me, the flowers must have been self-pollinating because I have seedlings galore.

Here is my “Pink Venus” that I got from FTS back in the spring. It’s had a rough go after our high temps here is OK nearly fried it and then it had a period where it only grew deformed scattered teethed traps. But last night, despite all it’s been through, I discovered three baby traps with a lot of green on them and many more sprouting up. This little baby is a fighter!! 💪🏼
