dj_almightydolla on eBay is Steve Galic. He's the Administrator of Plant Materials for The North American Sarracenia Conservancy, has a massive collection worthy of envy.

Steve occasionally sells divisions from some of his plants, but the bidding is fierce and the final prices are high (good for him, not so great for me...). In the fall, he has lots of fantastic seed mixes for sale.

Beautiful plant; the camera doesn't do it justice.

It was an eBay purchase (from Cook's), just 10 bucks plus shipping.

That's what I got mine for from @camden. $30.00 for 2 plants shipped is a pretty good deal, IMO.

I have bought from Cooks also. Pretty good deals from them too.

It'll be interesting to see how much the plant likes being outdoors again: unfiltered sunshine, rain, humidity, wind, heat and cold. Horry County is only 100 miles / 160 kilometers southwest of my location.

Panman wrote: Thu Dec 21, 2023 1:09 pm That is lovely. Most of the time a cuprea is more orange.
It's more of a cherry-top than a copper-top. I'm trying to get 3 or 4 nice cuprea's for breeding stock.
