I am giving away a free Heliamphora Ciliata. Will be shipped bare root wrapped in sphagnum moss and damp paper towel. I'm not sure how rare it is but would love to give it to a good home.

Lmk if everyone would prefer an essay on why you should get the plant and your current experience with heliamphora.

This is probably one of the wildest giveaway ideas I have seen on this forum, sort of feels like one of Hollyhock's wild rides. I think though that it will be hard to get a lot of participants with this format, especially as people may be reeling from the holidays. As much as I loathe the essay it may be a better idea to make a more accessible giveaway.

LOL. An essay would be a bit much and might intimidate some folks.

I, for one, would be down for an essay.
Would the requirement be an argumentative or informative essay? APA, MLA, Scientific? Introduction, body, and conclusion (abstract for scientific)? Will it be run through Turnitin to check for plagiarism?

I'm a little confused but if it's a 3 digit # I will say 142?
