As title says. I place a 40kb photo into submit, and it takes me to a blank screen. Nothing changes at all. I have tried this with several photos under the 48kb guideline. Any help?

This happened to me multiple times. I had to wait a while for it to load after trying time and time again and I’m not sure what eventually did it. I did at one point (thanks to another forum user’s help) use an even smaller version of the image though.

Is the pic also 100x100 (or less) pixels?

The way I edit the pictures is I first crop the picture into a perfect square, then I change the size to 100x100 pixels.

I just changed mine. The "update" took me to an error screen but when I re-loaded the page, the new avatar was there. Maybe it's the software you used to get it to 100x100? If you want, you can send it to me and I'll use mine to convert it.
