Hey guys,

I was just wondering how i am supposed to know when to put my VFT into dormancy.

I just got it, and it is spring here, so i wont really need to make it go dormant untill next year, but i want to make sure i am ready to take care of it when the time comes.

What are the signs that the VFT wants to go into dormancy?

When it is in dormancy, should i be checking on my VFT everyday?

It will do it itself with the shortening days in the fall.

Adam's right. Leave your plant outside until the first frost and it will be dormant. You'll be able to see the difference.

Places are different. But usually around, I don't know, September? I actually got mine on October something, so I actually don't know. When you feel cold outside, thats when they will go dormant. At least if your bare hands should be cold.
