Back in July I bought this pretty green ping with a touch of pink on the edges of the leaves from the local garden shop . . . .

. . . . now, about a month later after spending most days outside catching rays (and bugs as you can see) it has made this marvelous transformation to a pink ping . . .

I wonder if the green ping will return in the winter when the sun disappears?

That ant did a lot of damage to that leaf too, the leaf 'surface' is worn down to the base where it was struggling to free itself.

I love pings because of their rossette form and color!

Make sure that is a bit more drier during the winter, you don't want it to rot. It is probable that the green starts to appear when the cold starts, but some leaves will keep their red pigmentation.

mine isnt in the greatest condition right now, only got it last week.
