I've germinated them in vitro, but never in vivo. If I recall correctly, right after they germinate, I think they look the same as all other Dicotyledonous plants, with two small leaves initially.

In vitro means "in glass" and in vivo means "in life". In terms of how the plants grow, the differences are fairly subtle. There aren't any significant differences. Basically, the plants just look a bit more green in vitro and grow and multiply much more quickly.
