Anyone know how to grow Utricularia? Lol

Utrics like a more airy mix but if it's one of the smaller leaf kind they're less picky. You could do peat/pumice/orchid bark/sand really any mix you want. Keep it watered regularly (tray method) unless it's an epiphytic utric (which I don't think it is) :) don't stress. Utrics are the best!

I always take my leaf pullings in winter. Had nearly 100% success every time, so I'm wondering about this. Especially considering that my summer pullings have a less-than-25% success rate. It's quite possible that I'm doing something wrong with my summer pullings, however.

I wouldn't recommend stripping the plant down for sure though, not after all that stress.

Congratulations everyone on the plants! They look excellent!

Anyone have links? I don't wanna kill it.

I'm guessing they aren't perennial even in mild winters?

I got an extra Monkey Ass. Sarah, you should not send it, if anyone deserves the extra plants, that should be you!

But since you already sent it, it won't make any sense to send it back. But I will pay for it to you, consdier I bought it from you.

And I still need to send you some money for the fedex fee. Just, do you have ways other than paypal that I can send the money to you? I really dont want to deal with them again, still trying to get them solve the pending txs. They said it should be done soon, but another week has passed...

Speaking of the Fedex fee... Did you find out whether it was $171 or something else? If it was that high, we surely owe you some money?

Just as a note, that's not a bladder! Epiphytic utrics make tubers, and that's what you're seeing in the pic.

I also got an extra utric :p

The terrestrial species will do fine in something loose (peat with a lot of sand or perlite in it) and kept wet, epiphytic ones should be in lfs/perlite with highland conditions.

I knew it was too big to be true. Usually the tubers look more.... thin haha. Darn!

Fedex was 123.90

I am assuming they charged to go pick it up too.

Of course you know what they say about assuming and I didn't make any phone calls to dig deeper.
