my garage/shed has 2 stories, and the top-level is always hotter than outside, usually by 7-10 degrees(Fahrenheit). I'm planning on keeping most of my sundews, leaf-cuttings, and seeds on a windowsill there, aside from my temperates. would there be any problems with this setup?

The only thing that I have noticed with attic spaces is that they seem to be dryer. The other issue is that you tend to forget to check on the plants up there. Other than that, I don't see a problem.
