Not sure what you mean by that. If you're asking were they there before, then no. They just recently started appearing.

Ahh… and you did aclimate to your sun? I remember you talking about which to aclimate to first, RH or light.

Sorta. I think it is as too fast. Although, I looked at some pictures of spectabilis x ventricosa, and the leaves look like they get reddish in color.

I got the same plant from the same place, it went into shock i had to bag it. After that it grew fine in the house/outside. Someone really wanted it last summer and i let them buy it.
