My S.maroon has some white spider mites. They don’t seem to cause a lot of damage, maybe a little discoloration on the leaves. I am not sure if the are spider mites because I haven’t seen webs yet only the mites. They like to crawl mostly around the new growth and crown. My S.maroon is probably starting to go dormant. Can I submerge it in a bucket of distilled water for a day, or there is a risk of rhizome rot this time of the year?
