Finally, it looks like I was able to get a strike on one of my flower stalks.

It looks like my "Fang" flower stalk has some new growth on it near the top. I hope I get a bunch of plants from it and sorry for the poor picture quality.

I would also be remiss if I did not thank fellow moderator Linton, who is on vacation, for all his help and for answering all my numerous questions about flower stalk cuttings.

Thank you E.S., Jutty_Boy, Matt and Devon.

Just like you Matt, I've never seen one strike near the top and if anybody has any clue on what to do next that would be great as I have no idea on how to proceed?

Thank you in advance for any useful information.

Cool! We've only seen a "strike" near the top in that one case where someone snipped the flower stalk near the top and it grew out of the stem that was still coming out of the original plant.

Thank you Jun and Adam,

I'm guessing that the flower stalk began decaying and then the new growth initiated right where the decay and good tissue meet.

Just a guess on my part why the new growth formed near the top.

Whatever is going on, I don't know. But whatever is happening, it seems like it's worth a cheer. Yay for the flower stalk! It looks awesome. Sorry for the lack of my knowledge.
