Greetings everyone,

Some of you may remember my Pinguicula care website called Grey's Pinguicula Garden; the website hosted a large array of guides that covered topics from the basic care of each Pinguicula group to browning heart disease and things beyond. I felt it would be best to completely redesign the site and make it easier to navigate, I also merged it with a second website of mine to make maintaining both a lot easier (updates will be simpler if all the information is in one place). To that end I would like to present to you the new home of Grey's PG: Rachel's (not so) Secret Garden.

Every care guide offered on Grey's PG has been moved over, divided into small and easily digestible chunks and rearranged to, hopefully, make it much easier for you to find the information you need quickly and efficiently. I have also graciously been given permission to utilize some photographs from the Flytrapcare.com community for the website banners and general beautification - I cannot thank all of those who have offered me photos so far enough for their contributions! :D If you have any clear photographs of cold temperate or warm temperate Pinguicula species (or hybrids) that you would like to share on the website, please send me a PM! Appropriate credit shall be given for any photographs are used. I'm sorry but I will not be buying rights to any digital content, nor will I be selling any rights to any of my photographs or those that were contributed. No money shall be earned off images.

The new website is also host to a variety of guides spread across subjects from my second, lesser known website but as this is a carnivorous plant forum I'd like to highlight the Pinguicula section of the new site; you can find it under the subheading The Butterwort Garden.

I sincerely hope that the new site will prove useful! Thank you so much to everyone in this community for your invaluable support and general wonderfulness!

God bless,
Rachel

I can't believe it's been over a year since I posted on this topic - wow! The website has undergone some major changes, including large shifts in the number of pages and information available on those pages. I feel I should get into the habit of posting any news and updates here, so I'll see if I can do that in future.

Speaking of news, I have a new care guide section dedicated to Madagascar hissing cockroaches!

It's been something of a while since I last posted in this topic; anyone who has been keeping an eye on the website will have noticed some major changes from time to time. Lately I have been working on making the information within each portion of the site easier to access, this has resulted in much shorter pages but hopefully much more info at your fingertips - I've found an amazing bit of code that has really helped me to organize the website better and more efficiently.

At present I am updating the Pinguicula care section of the website; this may take some time but the main care pages (cold temperate Pinguicula, Mexican Pinguicula and warm temperate Pinguicula) should not experience any issues. I did want to warn you all, however, that a number of the pages within "The Butterwort Garden" area of the site will be deleted in the future which will render any bookmarks or hyperlinks broken. The information on these pages will not be lost but will instead be moved and merged together into one page to, hopefully, make things more convenient for you all.

The pages that will be removed are as follows:

- Artificial lighting (http://www.rnssg.com/artificial-lighting.html)
- Water, TDS & PPM (http://www.rnssg.com/water-tds--ppm.html)
- Glossary (http://www.rnssg.com/glossary.html)
- Problems & Diseases (http://www.rnssg.com/problems--diseases.html)
- Coconut What? (http://www.rnssg.com/coconut-what.html)

I have a lot of work to do before the pages are actually deleted, but I felt it would be best to inform you way ahead of time just in case. Thank you all for your patience!

I am also looking for a large, clear photograph of a warm temperate Pinguicula (any species or hybrid) to use with the warm temperate Pinguicula section of the site; I was wondering if anyone had a single photo that I could please use. Please be aware that the image may be edited to the point of adding a border, or text over the top, but the integrity of the image will be maintained, and no colour or other modifications will be made. Proper credit will be given and I can link back to a website or your forum profile page if you would like. You are free to request the removal of the image from the website at any time. Please PM me if at all possible, thank you!

Thanks Earthy. :)

I'm so pleased to announce the updated version of "The Butterwort Garden"! Hopefully this will benefit you all in the long run, although I would also like to remind you all that some pages of the site will be disappearing soon, as mentioned in my previous post.
