So I put some Dionaea and Sarracenia seeds into cultures on the 6th of March. I noticed that some of them started germinating on the 16th! That's only 10 days in vitro. That's way faster than it took the first time I attempted to start seeds in vitro and the only thing I really changed was the temperature. It makes a big difference to keep the temperature up near 80°F.

I wonder what the ideal temperature is for germination. Next time I have seeds, I'll keep the water way warmer.
