Hello!!
Got a quick question for you beautiful people. I just got an orchid yesterday from Kroger. It looks fine but it doesn't look like there is much air circulation in the container it's in. Should I repot or wait a little bit? It's a pot within a pot. There’s only like 3 holes and they're on the bottom. TIA

Without a picture its difficult to tell.

Typically if its in bloom then I say leave it until its done blooming. If not, the potting sounds suspicious and I would repot.

I would definitely repot it if it were mine. Looks to me like it has just a starter plug for media. I am assuming its a phal or similar. If so orchid bark, perlite, and leca mix. I don’t use any moss after finding it left things too moist and amost killed one of mine.

Use a bigger better pot too.

The soil has a spongey texture to it. The weather is nice here today so will replant today

If you don't repot immediately, you can tweeze out some of the spongy medium to get more root in contact with the air.

Thats the starter plug I was referring to. Not good at all long term.
