hey there :) my first nepenthes was a judith finn my second is a ventricosa as i said in the other post so any of those 2 would be great for a beginner.
technically i am still a beginner for nepenthes so their alive 1x judith finn 2xventricosa matts ventricosa are a bit small but he said he sends multiples to make up for the size. also the nepenthe judith finns of matts has pitchers bigger then the leafs well atleast my first pitcher is bigger then its leaf! :D id say its 4-6 inches.

These are all suitable for beginners as long as you're already familiar with general nepenthes soil, light, and watering requirements:
* Ventricosa (highland)
* Sanguinea (highland)
* Khasiana (highland)
* Ventrata (highland)
* Alata (highland and lowland forms)
* Miranda (highland and lowland forms)
* Ampullaria (lowland)
* Rafflesiana (lowland)

Pick the one you like best and get it. :)
