some of you are wondering what new nep seedling looks like ,so here are some that have just germinated from the seed pods , in a few pic's you can see the stem coming out of the pod and the first leafs and pitcher all ready forming , , these are from a bought plant that has theses seedling emerging in its potting mix , they may be N.ventricosa , but not sure yet till they will be some 4 to 5 years old

Very nice to see them germinating, what soil mix are you using? I usually seen these being sowed on LFS. How old were these seeds? Did you obtain them yourself?

Hi Peter
so many questions
the mix the original germinated in was from a wholesaler of CP's in Victoria so i suspect it was a peat mix . I have just put them in a peat and sand mix now .
Ok on LSM yes I have tried it on that and peat with still no success as yet ?? very frustrating for me !!
I do not know how old the seeds are but the seedling have been popping up for a few months now .
Well they cam in a potted nep and the seeds were germinating when I received the plant it was only a may be 2 or 3 year old plant ,probable a t/c plant as well
