[code[/code]My friend had bought a nept when I did she said one of her pitchers dried up and she wants to knowif she needs to cut just the pitcher off or leave it because the leaf is still green. What does this mean with the pitcher drying up?

Cutting the pitcher off would be wise if it's browned up..
If you leave it, it may spead up the leaf and the whole leaf will die..
Don't trim the leaf, only the pitcher.. The leaf will stay alive and photosynthesis.

Some will disagree with me .
I say if the pitcher is still green anywhere .... LEAVE IT ....... If not cut it to the green of the leaf .

i agree with you daren, usually the pitcher will start dying from the lid (inless something to big was put in the pitcher than it will rot) but while the lid is dying the nep is taking the remaining nutrients out of the live part of the pitcher.
