Good morning all,

I ended up with too many cape sundews and have 4-5 I can give away to any members in the Detroit area. They were given to me with a bad aphid infestation and after treatment and some time, they are recovered enough that I’m comfortable giving them away. They are not yet beautiful and will need to be repotted, but they are free.

Anyone interested, please let me know.

Edit: photos added

Thanks,

Dan

It typically isn't. However, even with 7K+ members, the chances of someone living in the Detroit area, looking for one of the most common sundews, seeing this post, having time to work out a meeting, and actually go get them are pretty slim.
Now, if you were to offer them for only the cost of shipping, that opens it up to the entire US and the bulk of the members.

Thanks ChefDean! That makes good sense. If I still have them as the summer winds down, I may do that. They should be much happier and better looking by then too. I’d feel bad for someone paying shipping while they still look sad.

Hi Jen, sorry for the late reply. Someone picked up the last one. If you’re interested in seeds, I could mail you some I got this summer. Assuming it recovers, I may have a red I could ship a little later. Probably better in the fall when it cools a little anyway.
