Hi all, l allowed one of my Capes to flower and after about three weeks it finally finished popping flower buds. I want to collect seeds from the stalk, but don't know how long to let the stalk stay on the plant in order to set the seeds. Is this required, or can I go ahead and cut it off and let it dry? Advice appreciated!

I wait for the bottom few buds to turn brown and dry out. You'll likely lose some seeds while cutting them though. I haven't had much success with cutting them early and letting them dry.

Wow, that sure was a lot of seeds. And there's still half of the stalk to go.
