I fed my trap a bug last week that was admittedly too big, (my mistake) and some of its juices leaked out. Now there is mold in that spot. What should I do to make sure the rest of my plant isn’t affected?

Leave it. Trap will die. Plant will be fine. When the trap is completely black clip it off

Oh, that happens sometimes. They catch all manner of too-large prey in the wild, or catch a prey item with long wings or legs that stick out and allow bacteria or fungi in. The individual trap will die off, but the plant will get nutrients from the bug before the trap is fully dead, and the decay won't spread up high enough to hurt the whole plant. Just the trap and maybe the petiole (leaf) it's on. I would cut the trap off where it joins the petiole once it's fully black, just to remove the mold.
