I've tried them once, just a sow and grow, and got about a 50% germination. However, mine were only about a year old, and these are likely beyond that. I've heard of a bleach treatment that's pretty mild, and there's this.

Yes, I was making a joke, but that is crazy. So maybe it's a compound in the smoke, that gets captured in the liquid, that contribute to germination.
If you want to try it, we have some extra liniflora seeds I can contribute to the experiment.
