Good afternoon everyone I was just wondering do I feed my plant with flies? My plant has gone really big and I was just wondering what to give it for extra nutrients

Nice plant! You can put an osmocote pellet in the pitcher, or fill it with halfway with a diluted liquid fertilizer such as MaxSea (1/4tsp per gallon), or put actual bugs in there if you have some handy. I drop bloodworms in mine.

To expand on what elaineo said: You can find freeze-dried bloodworms in the fish-food section of the pet store or online. They're insect larvae, so you're still feeding insects to your plant.

Then again…I don’t know…I have never fed mine and they are doing ok ?

If i really want to push growth over the winter when my plants are inside i use "BettaMin pellets" by Tetra. All my CP's seems to do great with it and its cheap easy to handle and last forever. I even crush it up wet it and apply it to my sundew's with a pipette.
