I was watching a YouTube video where a guy was propagating Nepenthes and he is using this stuff.

Is this safe?

Rooting hormone is generally safe. I have used Rootone on nepenthes cuttings in the past.

So, the last time I used it was probably 10 years ago. I would expect that any rooting hormone would work.

Ray at FirstRays sells one that works great called "Kelpak":

He's a smart guy and knows a ton about orchids. I bought the "Optimum Growth Package" (don't laugh) from him awhile back and the stuff works great.

So follow the same instructions without modification for CP's?

Maybe for testing purposes, half the amount at first.
