just as it says in the title, would the wavy leaf maxima 3786 clone be fertile? I would assume so as it is a pure species, and also another question is the wavy leaf maxima in nature? or was it selectively bread to be that way?

Mine hasn't flowered for me but I'm pretty sure I've seen it used in crosses and like you mentioned, since it's a pure species, theres no reason that it wouldn't be fertile. I'm pretty sure almost all simple hybrids and even most complex hybrids are fertile. Only a handful I've heard are infertile.
