I've got a lot of seeds just sitting around, wishing to be re-homed. Maybe you have an empty pot or two looking to be filled? Anyhow, if you'd like some of these seeds, send me a PM. So as not to be in competition with the seed bank, I'll be sending seeds of my choice (basically the ones I have the most of) but I can say they all have names and/or location data attached.

Cardboard frame, regular #10 envelope. Why do you ask?

I remember back in the good ol' days when we used carrier pigeons to deliver seeds...then the pigeons found out they were hauling seeds and started riffling through the packages and eating the seeds. Kinda reminds me of a FedEx driver that was caught doing the same thing around here a couple of years ago. Ah well, it's hard to find good help these days. Yeah, stick with the #10 setup...less chance of the seeds being some tweety birds dinner.

Shouldn't. I don't remember if I sent you any capis - but even those should be ok without stratification. No harm in trying it with a sub-portion, though.

No, they don't. But many capillaris do like a little heat for germination, maybe around 80°F. Heat wouldn't hurt the spats either.

Stratification won't hurt them, but it's unnecessary as they're subtropical. All it will do is delay your enjoyment of them. They won't germinate in the tube while in stratification, too cold.
