What lighting do sundews like? and also how wet do they like their soil.

I keep mine about 1/3 submerged in a tray of water. The pot with numerous small thin leaf I lightly top water daily. The other two I top water about 3 times a week lightly.

The pot with several small dews is in a south facing window, the other two in a southwest facing window the has a porch roof over it.

That depends on the species. It's usually 5+ hours of direct sun and damp-to-wet, but not for all of them. Drosera schizandra doesn't like direct sun. And the tuberous sundews of Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand need a hot, dry period in the summer.

On the other hand, my red threadleaf sundews like the same growing conditions as Venus flytraps:

Hm, is the same for seedlings? i got seedlings that have been growing for quite a while but i dont know whether i should put them in the direct sun of intense florida.
