Bought a pitcher plant from Carnivorous plant nursery and it arrived in what i would consider a 40% alive state. It wasnt an expensive plant (small version to boot) but somehow that plus shipping cost me $25. In this condition id have better luck hunting down pitcher plants from local hardware stores

Ive bought from Carnivero and they seem to be on top of things. And i have bought from flytrapstore.com. I spent in total around $450 and everything has arrived in mostly excellent condition.

In conclusion, Carnivorous Plant Nursery is a joke. DO NOT PICK THEM FIRST

Odd. Did you contact Colin and let him know about this? I use them quite frequently and have never had an issue. I have heard of others with issues though. All I can recommend is to contact Colin and let him know. Pretty sure he will be more than happy to replace. colin@carnivorousplantnursery.com
