Well done! I am still learning, and have made many mistakes ... for me the transition out of my 'seed mix' has proved the most challenging. I have tended to treat the 'seedlings' as leaf strikes, and I feel like they are more fragile than that. I'm currently doing some experiments on leaf strikes on different media - as I feel I also have been rough on those propagations, and am aiming for better. If I have anything to share I will.

I also have been fortunate to get OP seeds on my mexi pings to experiment with. I'm hoping to improve my techniques before trying actual on-purpose crosses.

And (OMG), I just read your cross (missed it on the first read-through) - I was thinking of trying the same thing - about to get my first roseii flowers, and my moct just opened. I think these are going to be awesome!! Good luck and I'd love to see updates!!

Thanks for the info on how fragile they are. Hopefully mine will survive and any seeds y'all try in the future. They seem to be doing well right now and putting out leaves now so🤞 🌱

Definitely share updates - the challenge for me is the space to grow out the seedlings and find the stars amongst the duds . I have a couple crosses that a friend has made (and although not all have survived my 'ministrations'), I have a few survivors from these batches and am looking forward to seeing the variability as they mature!

Fun journey - would love to see a log here!
