Had a hybrid Pinguicula that was growing very nicely and flowering profusely, but a day or so ago it just suddenly wilted. Now there's some mushy, olive green/ brown spreading from the center. Is it browning heart disease? Do I need to treat the offshoot I pulled out of the pot to try to save it?

You can try cutting off some of the better looking leaves well beyond any sign of disease and using them for propagation. With luck, you'll get some healthy plantlets.
