So, I’ve been reading up on heli pollination (thanks panman!). Are the these flowers too late to collect pollen (sorry for the blur)?

I can't tell. I don't see any yellow anthers, which is where the pollen would come from. On my plant, the flowers had to be open for a few days before the pollen was ready. The catch is that the flower will only accept pollen before it is fully opened.

BTW, the collecting of the anthers into a centrifuge vial and using the electric toothbrush to vibrate the vial worked very well.

Oh, yeah, the anthers on both flowers are an orangish red color.

Nice! Okay, I'll try that method first.
