What’s your soil mix? Is it in a lot of sun? How often do you water and by how much (like do you drench it or just lightly water)? My Ventricosa(?[still not sure]) does this to me when I get water on the leafs.

The soil mix is about 1:1 sphagnum:perlite. I'm estimating that the light is probably around 6-8 hours. I water it at least once a week and use about half a cup.

I did get the leaves of the plant wet multiple times, could that be it?

Mabey, do the dots feel like they’re a part of the leaf, or are they flush?

My similar hybrid, spec x vent be 3373 I think, tolerates up to 90f well, up to 100f grouchily, and gets a bit more light than other neps. It does get cold nights, so there could be a balance to it. I'd recommend sticking a thermometer in it and see exactly what it's at. Best temp for it is 85f though. Mine gets 50f nights.

They feel like they're part of the leaf.

The lowest I can have the temperature drop is room temperature. Would a meat thermometer work?

Room temps should be fine at least for winter, I grew mine indoors over winter. I don't know if can tolerate little temp drops.

It does have ventricosa in it, so it probably would be fine.

I can have the temperature go from the 80’s to 70’s. Basically I can raise the temperature in the day and let it drop back to room temperature at night if the plant will benefit from that.

Why do you have to acclimate it? It has ventricosa in it so it should be super easy. The only reason you would have to acclimate it is if you are going to grow it in lowland conditions. I never acclimate any of my plants.

You probably don't need to heat it up any more than the sun/lights do. It's more of a maximum limit. As long as the room fluctuates in temp it should be fine.
