I have trouble identifying my sarracenia. From where i got it it only said sarracenia purpurea. Idk if it is a purpurea venosa or a rosea. But i am almost sure it is not a purpurea purpurea.

Looks like a venosa to me.

The tubbiness makes me want to say rosea, but I don't think you'd ever get a rosea from a big box store (assuming you got it from a big box store). I think it will help when it colors up a bit.

To me, it looks more like a purpurea venosa than a rosea (assuming that it isn't a hybrid of the two). You'll know for sure when it blooms: red flower on a tall stalk = purpurea, and pink flower on a short stalk = rosea.

Now the temperature is much better than before and it coloured up nicely.

I'm sticking with venosa. Rosea, as far as I know, do not have wavy lids.

Oh yeah Panman you have a point. S.rosea has just one big wave in each side of the hood, not a lot of waves like S.purpurea venosa. So it propably is just a fat S.purpurea venosa.

That depends on the plant's genetics. rosea's show a lot of variation, even within one bog's population. I have plants that run from one end of the spectrum to the other:

Few ruffles
Wilkerson's bog, North Walton County, Florida Triffid Park cultivar, Australia
Some ruffles
South Baldwin County, Alabama Liberty County, Florida x Mobile County, Alabama
Lots of ruffles
Bay County, Florida Chipola, Florida No location data

Then the only option I have is the flowers. By the way you have excellent plants
