My S.maroon and S.purpurea have pests! they are propably some kind of mite. They are white, bulbous and as small as dust particles. They are hiding in the crowns of the plants. Then when the sunset begins they come out. The good news is that there are only a few, but this also means it will be almost impossible to take photos of them. They haven’t done any noticeable damage yet, but I can found most of them walking on the new growth and the crown. I am spraying a lot of distilled water to the whole plants every day so I can drown them. Is this working or not?

I don't know but springtails are small, white and fast.

They defiantly aren’t springtails. They are A LOT smaller than springtails and they don’t go to the soil only the leaves, especially the new growth and around the crown. They are propably a type of white spider mite or baby spider mites. But I haven’t see any web yet, propably because there are very few of them.

I will try to catch one without squishing it and then take a photo with a magnifying glass, but it will be very hard to do.

Drown the suckers. Literally. Submerge bot plants completely for 48 hours. The sarrs won't mind and you stand a good chance of getting rid of the pests.

The containers are kinda big so I will need a bucket. Or do you recommend 2 separate buckets? Also the media is just pure sphagnum moss.

Also I was thinking instead of putting them in buckets with water, I would make an automatic spray bottle with a regular spray bottle and a motor. Then I would just leave it to spray the plants for half an hour for every day. Will this work?

Spraying won't do enough. It needs to be fully submerged. Even then, you're not guaranteed to get rid of them. I've done it a couple of times and it seemed to work but it hasn't for others. You can use buckets or even plastic bags. Anything that will hold enough water to get above the top of the plants.
