I have to say, I did NOT expect this plant to decide to double the size of the second pitcher it puts out after I get it

(Pay no mind to the Judith Hindle on the side trying to argue that it's still the bigger plant!)

If this continues, I'll be eaten by this plant by Christmas

If you can't fight your way away from a sleeping plant, then you've got bigger issues than a pitcher jump.

You never know though... The thing about a plant is they've got lifeless eyes - Black eyes, like a doll's eyes. When they come at ya---

This is the time of year (in the northern hemisphere) when leuco's start popping their big pitchers.
