So, I recently won a Gantungensis at auction and noticed it has a basal shoot on it. I was wondering if there was any interest and if so, how much would a plant probably go for? I’d probably grow it out to about 1-2in. before considering anything.

Lots of factors to consider.
First, I'm finding that a plant the size of yours has a wide range of pricing. I'm finding from $60 to $130, with the $60 ones sold out. The higher priced ones are hanging around, some even being discounted. But that's a price for a rooted plant, possibly even shipped potted.
For a basal, obviously those prices are high, especially if sold unrooted. If you were to let it get a little more size, and ship it the day you cut it, sold unrooted, I would think around $20 - $25 would be fair. If you take the time to root it, then I would think around the ballpark of $35.
Now, this is all conjecture, as I don't have any experience with this particular species, just thinking logically.

That thing looks tiny. If you're going to cut it let both grow out and then choose which to cut, basal or main plant, a bit later. There's no rush. I would be interested if you did cut the plant at some point, though.
