That is time to stay inside with the AC, definitely in the shade with a fan running and *PLENTY OF COLD WATER*!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like they've lowered our forecast a bit...a degree or so. We had mid-80's the other day up to around noon...man, that felt good!!!!!!!!!!! 8-)

We're supposed to get a high in the lower 80's today. Not too warm.

The weather "people" dropped our forecast high for today to 99F.....we hit 99.1F according to my little dilapidated weather station (www.beeweather.com). Currently the heat index, at a little before 6pm CST, is 107F. Tomorrow predicted 100F but with a chance of rain...then a steady drop in temperature for several days eventually getting down to the very low 90F's by this time next week!!!!!! It will be none too soon!!!!

The temperatures here are gonna go up to 100 today. Some of my sarracenia leaves shriveled up yesterday, but I think it was because the heat dried up the water and plants. (those leaves were already dying anyway)

That's intense. We rarely see 100 here, but with the humidity, it's brutal when it does come. Low-mid 90s right now. Good luck out there guys and keep the plants hydrated.

Our humidity is actually so low that the heat index is below the actual temperature. It makes the hot weather more bearable, but it also means I have to watch my plants more carefully and water more.
