Hey everyone,

How do I pollinate U. Sandersonii flowers? I just cannot find a YouTube video or anything on doing this!

They are so tiny I'm not sure how you would do it. Under a microscope I would think!

I know people do it with utricularia of the same size.

I've never had mine self, they've always spread by sending out stolons.

Yeah, I've had flowers before but never gotten seed. The reason I want seed is because I'm sure the seed bank would love it :D

The seeds are way too small, about the size of moss spores, and they have an extremely short shelf life, but they germinate immediately. But that's only true for the terrestrial species.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I've been thinking of adding a U. Sandersonii to my collection and saw packs of 10 seeds being sold. I considered buying seeds, but this sounds like it would not work very well.

I'm not sure how one would go about counting out 10 utricularia seeds.
