Yea, that's the problem I'm having, it's hot outside and the full sun makes the sun makes the capes hotter. I am putting them in part sun 4 hours a day until they recover. I'm thinking of bringing them in under lights where they can get full sun but it's cooler in the garage.

My part is even hotter (being further inland). Last few weeks had stretches in the 90s. Now my capes crashed and burned I'm pretty sure they're in heat induced hibernacula... :?:

It's hard to say.

I have my Capes in direct Florida sunlight all day every day. And it's consistently hitting 90°F here. Top that off with the fact my typical just flowered twice in a month. And that definitely tells me that my plants are happy.

I don't know why other users have their plants burning at these conditions.

As carnies was saying. Your Capes look fine to me, nothing that strikes me as a plant that is showing disease or improper nutrition.

Humidity is another factor. Humidity here is anywhere from 10 - 30 %. Here's what I think is a heat induce hibernacula of some sort... :?:

The plants are growing in temperatures under 80 degrees and the leaves are still shriveling up. Within a week of unfurling a leaf will slowly start to shrivel up from the tip. They shrivel very slowly, but it bugs me that they're still shriveling up. Maybe they're growing to closely. I have two capes touching each other and another only a centimeter away.
