This year I finally started to have a real "seasonal" change in my lighting to accommodate some more finicky plants and I noticed my pinguicula have put on significantly more growth at 10 hours than they did at 16. Some of them are almost a year old in that prop tray and stayed pretty stagnant throughout the summer. Makes me curious if they find less light more ideal. The rest of their conditions are the same. Anyone else experience something like this?

Somewhat.
My lone Ping is on my east facing windowsill and just chills all summer. Last fall (2020) it spawned off a few pups, but nothing spectacular.
This summer, no measurable change.
This fall (2021), the dang thing exploded! It has divided into at least six plants, maybe more. I may have to rehome some plants next Spring.

I always mimic the Sun with my lights. I may add 1 hour or two for some of my setups, but it’s always following the actual season’s number of hours as a baseline.
