It has survived 2 zone 7b winters and hasn't bloomed but once and made seed but I didnt see the color of the flowers though but I attached a pic of it. Hope it helps.

If it is subulata, sometimes it can make a pod of seeds without flowering. See these photos of mine

Peter D’Amato says in his book The Savage Garden:
Two things are peculiar about this species: first, sometimes the delicate flower stalks produce tiny drops of viscid glue along their length (probably to protect the blooms), something I discovered and wrote about in 1991. Second, the plants can also produce large quantities of seedpods without having flowered, a process known as “cleistogamous flowering.”
