I'm excited about the switch from long-fiber sphagnum moss to silica and peat. Lost two I had before, one to a fungus gnat outbreak and the other to mold I couldn't get under control. This new medium should resolve these issues.

Cephalotus are definitely challenging and seem to succumb to mold and other things quite easily. But yeah, the silica/peat soil mix along with the silica sand topping should help keep mold at bay!
