I don't even know how you spell it, but what are butterworts or whatever they're called? I know it's not a VFT question, but still.

You spelled it about right. Butterworts or Pinguicula are almost like sundews but they are low plants, with sticky leaves

Butterworts are great for catching the smaller insects that would be too small for a VFT. My Butterwort is currently playing tag team with my Sundew in catching the fungus gnats and other assorted small creatures that were messing with my Aloe Vera plant.
