Visiting my mother today for Mother's Day and she showed me her strange conjoined coneflower. The bloom is twice as long and the stem is twice as thick as a normal one should be! It's as if two stems were growing at once and became fused!

It's interesting how any number of things can affect the growth point of a plant. My kid brother is (sarcastically) blaming Covid-19 for this, while I'm jokingly blaming the nearby nuclear power plant. But you never know.

Not that I'm aware of. However, I question the plant's ability to function with minimal staff these days as my lights are slightly flickering. Just hope we don't have a regular Homer running the cooling system or something akin to that.

Then go solar! We should all go solar!!
Just kidding. There is no reason I am going solar. Save the sun for the plants.
