Had a mars hydro 300w 18" above my fly traps and sundew. They have all been doing very well. I recently upgraded to a mars 600w because - no good reason other than more light. I hung it at 24" above the plants to slowly acclimate them. The light is honestly about twice as bright I feel.

I'll keep you all updated on how the plants react if anyone is interested.

Edit - I know the majority of people on this forum grow in lots and lots of sunlight but does anyone else grow their plants in 100% artificial lighting?

I grow a bunch of plants indoors under lights. And one of those is a Marshydro 300watt. I love it.

I have 3 MarsHydro 300s in my indoor growing area. That's my main light. I have then 18 - 24 inches above the plants.

Plants color up nicely under them. Here's a Typical Cephalotus growing under this setup.
