Hey Pickles, go back to the garden center and get a small bag of long fiber sphagnum moss. Take it home and soak some in some distilled water. Take your flytrap out of the pot, and swish the roots around in some pure water to get all of the bad soil off of it. Then re-pot it with the long fiber moss. If it wasn't in there too long, it should be ok.
