Sorry Grey,

One last question. I've been letting the pot dry for a day or so before replenishing the water tray of my pings. But at the same time I noticed that my leaf pullings seem to wrinkle so much faster when I do that. When I have leaflets or leaf pullings on the same pot, is it still recommended to let the pot dry? Or keep the pot moist for the sake of the smaller pings that are with the mother plant.

I'm worried that the bigger pings might enjoy the dry soil but the smaller ones might die.

Questions are goooooood! I like questions, so no worries!

Keeping Mexican Ping leaf pullings slightly moister than the adult plants will probably help, yes. It can be tricky when they're all in the same pot but as long as you're careful, your adult plants shouldn't have too many problems really. I've lost a bunch of leaf pullings this way as well (and mine are in separate pots, it's just that they're all in the same water tray).

i think i have experienced the same “black dots” situation. they are some black dots on my pings. i also checked the inside of the saucer. it seems that the same dots in the water and some of the dots are swimming and some of the dots are just floating on the water(dead?). I‘m not sure whether they are same thing. however, it makes me so anxious😣😣😣
